"I discovered Solstice Yoga Center by chance when searching for a Christmas yoga retreat. I was not disappointed.
The yoga: Intense, especially for a beginner, but the instruction by Brigitte and the two teacher trainers, was outstanding. I felt very well supported and encouraged when overwhelmed and the retreat was definitely a great introduction to the practice of yoga.
The food: Wow!!! My body felt so great and cleansed at the end of the retreat. The food was fresh, clean, natural and beautifully presented. I try to follow a vegan diet whenever possible and the cooks were more than willing to accommodate myself and other guests at each meal.
The accommodation: La Loma Linda is a beautifully constructed, eco friendly accommodation on a hillside overlooking the beautiful surf of Zipolite. The landscaping is beautiful, the owners and staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean, natural and calming. The four legged members of the La Loma Linda family were a wonderful addition to the relaxing atmosphere.
All of the components of the Christmas retreat were impressive and I had a rejuvenating and relaxing experience. I left Zipolite and La Loma Linda knowing that I will find my way back there in the future. It is definitely worth a second trip. " -- teacherinchina, TripAdvisor member
