Faculty Teachers

Brigitte Longueville

Brigitte Longueville(Netherlands) Director of Solstice Yoga Center. Her teachings focus on the opportunity to "restore" innate capacities to their optimal expression through "relaxation as practice" coupled with traditional yoga practice. Her teachings are a reflection of her long study with international teachers and yogis in the area of "traditional" South India yoga, pranayama, critical alignment, anapana and vipassana meditation. She obtained her teaching certificate after completing a 3-year course at The Bharata Institute of Yoga, Amsterdam, Netherlands. The institute is world renowned for it's work in critical alignment. She is a certified Yoga Alliance teacher and teacher trainer. She has been doing pranayama for 25 years and has been practicing vipassana meditation for over 10 years. An international yoga teacher and member of that community, she teaches workshops around the world including the United States, Netherlands, Belgium, India, Antigua (West Indies) and Mexico.

Ana Paula Domínguez

Ana Paula DomínguezDirector and founder of IMY in Mexico City, writer and promoter of well-being in Mexico. Ana Paula is one of the top yogis in Mexico. She is a certified instructor in Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda and has trained with the top masters in places like India, USA and México. She is the founder and director of The Mexican Institute of Yoga, ambassador for Adidas Mexico and the host of the "Ayurveda and Nutrition" on Utilisima network. As the author of "Yoga for Happiness and Health" and "The Map of Happiness" Ana Paula is a contributor to many newspapers and magazines in Mexico including National Geographic Traveler, Life & Style and Reforma. She has also guided outdoor yoga sessions at special events like Play Yoga Brazil (2006) that was attended by over 1,000 people. She continues her education in Kundalini yoga and is perfecting the healing technique of Sat Nam Rasayan under the guidance of her master Guru Dev Singh Calza.

Nandikesh (Yogi Janzel)

Nandikesh (Yogi Janzel)At the age of 15 Nandikesh started following the lineage of Paramahansa Yogananda. After completing a degree in physics and mathematics at the University of Puerto Rico, he entered as a monk in his guru's ashram in California where he resided for 10 years studying Sanskrit, shastras, yoga and Ayurveda. In 2010, Nandikesh left the ashram to share the teachings of Yoga with those yearning to learn traditional Indian Yoga and in 2015 he was initiated in the ancient order of yogis of Juna Akhara by his teacher Swami Bhajanananda Saraswati. He currently teaches courses in Sanatan Dharma -the purificatory techniques of Hatha Yoga-, Ayurveda and the art of meditation in the tradition of Raja Yoga. Nandikesh is Co-Founder of Ayurveda Queretaro in Mexico.

Diana Irasem Cruz

Diana Irasem CruzCo-Founder of Yoga108, Bachelor of Graphic Design (UNAM), contemporary dancer, traveler, Yoga practitioner and lover. Diana is certified by Brigitte Longueville and registered as a Yoga Alliance RYT200 teacher, and part of the Solstice Yoga Center work team. She further holds certifications by Jñana Dakini at Yoga Espacio, by Kendra Yoga, and as a sonotherapist at the Spanish Institution of Sonotherapy with Ramji Singh. She is a senior practitioner of Vipassana meditation. She honors what she has learned with great sensitivity and commitment, providing confidence and clarity to her students, showing them that there are always new things to be discovered, felt and learned. She loves to travel, dance and sing to the moon, feel and share the healing power of Temazcal, and has taught classes, workshops and yoga retreats in Mexico, Barcelona, and Vancouver. With 18 years of experience, Diana shares her teaching honoring all the teachers on her path and the learning acquired with love, patience, and passion for the processes of being and practicing yoga.

Objetivo de la formación

Preparar a los participantes como instructores de yoga y a los intructores de yoga, darles las herramientas para especializarse en la técnica de alineamiento restaurativo y el Ayurveda.

Alineamiento restaurativo

Se darán herramientas para liberar las obstrucciones en la cadena de movimiento y crear alinemiento en la columna y movilidad en las diferentes partes del cuerpo para aprender a practicar con un equilibrio dinámico pero relajado y así podemos mantenernos saludables.


Para el maestro de yoga, aprender Ayurveda es un conocimiento indispensable que le permitirá tener una mayor profundidad sobre la naturaleza humana, para sanarse a sí mismo y apoyar a sus alumnos cuando así lo requieran.

El Ayurveda es el sistema de medicina tradicional de India. Se le define como la "ciencia de la vida" (Ayur => Vida, Veda => Conocimiento). A través de este sistema el participante será capaz de conocer más sobre su constitución psicofisiológica y la de sus alumnos; conocerá sobre el efecto de los alimentos en el cuerpo y en la mente; sobre el efecto de las posturas y sobre cómo pueden ayudar a equilibrarnos cuando nos encontramos en desequilibrio.
